GIBBS Eco Systems
Gibbs Group Eco Systems supports the shift toward lower-carbon, more efficient buildings through practical, deliverable solutions. We work with clients across London and the South East to reduce environmental impact by improving energy performance, supporting cleaner infrastructure, and embedding responsible site practices into everyday delivery. From EV and renewable-led installations to smarter upgrades that cut waste and consumption, we help clients make measurable progress toward their sustainability goals.
Driving practical climate action—reducing carbon, improving efficiency, and supporting clients on the path to zero-carbon buildings.

Gibbs Eco Systems was created to support the growing demand for lower-carbon, better-performing buildings—driven by rising energy costs, tighter compliance expectations, and the increasing urgency to reduce environmental impact. We take a practical, delivery-led approach that focuses on actions clients can implement, measure, and maintain over time.
Our commitment starts with the footprint we control. We continue to progress our transition toward electric vehicles, improve waste segregation and recycling performance, and embed more efficient planning and logistics into how projects are delivered. These operational changes reduce unnecessary waste, cut avoidable emissions, and improve overall site efficiency—without compromising safety or quality.
Just as importantly, we help clients make meaningful progress toward their sustainability objectives through low-carbon installations and infrastructure improvements. This includes supporting the rollout of EV infrastructure and renewable-led solutions where appropriate, alongside sensible upgrades that improve performance and reduce consumption. We focus on solutions that work in the real world: buildable, maintainable, and aligned to the building’s use, budget, and long-term lifecycle.
Eco Systems is not a marketing layer—it’s an operational commitment. By combining responsible delivery practices with practical low-carbon solutions, we help clients reduce impact, improve performance, and take confident steps toward a more sustainable built environment.

Photovoltaic Panels (PV)
Photovoltaic (PV) panels generate clean electricity by converting sunlight into usable power for your building. With energy costs remaining a major operational pressure, PV is a practical investment—reducing reliance on the grid, lowering running costs, and cutting carbon emissions without changing how the building is used.
A well-designed PV system can also improve long-term resilience by providing a consistent source of on-site generation and supporting wider efficiency strategies when combined with other upgrades. Where applicable, surplus energy exported back to the grid may be eligible for payments under the Government’s Smart Export Guarantee (SEG), helping improve overall return on investment.

Electric Vehicle Charging (EV)
We deliver EV charging infrastructure that makes the move to electric straightforward for workplaces, residential schemes, and mixed-use assets. We take a site-led approach—assessing capacity, designing compliant routes and containment, coordinating any distribution upgrades, and installing charge points that are practical to use and easy to manage long-term.
Our focus is reliability and scalability. Whether you need a small number of bays or an estate-wide rollout, we plan for safe load management, clear user access, and future expansion—so you’re not redesigning the network every time demand increases. Installation and maintenance are delivered through our electrical teams and vetted specialist partners where required, with clear handover documentation to support ongoing compliance and building management.
Where funding applies, we can support clients in navigating current UK government grant routes for charge points and enabling works—such as the Workplace Charging Scheme and landlord-focused charge point/infrastructure grants—ensuring the correct installer and equipment pathway is used when a grant is involved.

LED Lighting
Upgrading to LED lighting is one of the quickest, lowest-disruption ways to reduce energy consumption and improve building performance. LEDs deliver high-quality illumination with significantly lower power demand and a far longer service life than traditional lamps, which cuts both running costs and maintenance callouts.
Because LEDs run cooler, they can also reduce unwanted heat gain in internal spaces—supporting comfort and, in some environments, easing the load on cooling systems. We deliver LED upgrades as part of a structured approach: survey and specification, targeted replacement or full retrofit, optional controls for smarter operation, and clear documentation at handover. The result is a practical, measurable efficiency improvement that supports sustainability goals without compromising lighting standards or safety.

Insulation
Improving insulation is one of the most effective “fabric-first” upgrades for reducing heat loss, improving comfort, and lowering ongoing energy demand. Done properly, it helps stabilise internal temperatures, reduces cold spots and draughts, and can play a meaningful role in tackling condensation risk when paired with appropriate ventilation measures.
Gibbs Group supports insulation improvement works as part of wider refurbishment and energy-efficiency programmes. We start with a practical assessment of the property type, existing build-up, and constraints, then coordinate the right solution—whether that’s targeted upgrades to problem areas or a broader improvement programme—sequenced to minimise disruption in occupied environments.
Where specialist insulation systems or installation disciplines are required, we deliver through vetted, competent partners and manage interfaces tightly with the wider building fabric and M&E works. The result is a controlled upgrade with clear handover information that supports long-term building management, performance, and compliance.
